A SERIES of Unfortunate events
The Miserable Mill
By: Lemony Snicket
Violet age 14, black hair and the oldest Baudelaire orphan along with her brother Klaus age 12 black hair, the middle Baudelaire orphan and her sister Sunny the youngest Baudelaire orphan, are the main characters in the book and they are on their way to Paltryville, where their new care taker lived. The setting is in a lumber mill in a town called Paltryville. There is a doctor in Paltryville named Dr. Orwell who is teamed up with a new person in town named Shirley who is really Count Olaf (the person who is trying to steel the Baudelaire fortune). Violet, Klaus and Sunny are on a train ride to Paltryville and are about to meet their new caretaker. They get to Paltryville and go to a lumber mill, where they find a letter and find out that they have to work in the mill until Violet comes of age to inherit the fortune. While they are working in the mill they find out that Klaus has been hypnotized and is doing the work of Dr. Orwell. Violet and Sunny have to figure out a way to unhypnotize there brother and save one of their friends Charles from being chopped in half. I would recommend this book to anyone. Thos book is full of action and thrills. Every time you think you know what’s going to happen, something different comes. This book keeps you wanting to read it more; it keeps you on the edge of your seat the whole time. This is and excellent book and the series is the same way
