My new school

This is my last year at Mariner Middle School and i am about to become a Freshman at the best school ever, Sussex Tech the home of the Ravens. Next year will be awesome because i will have a new school and a clean slate. I will make new friends and still have my old ones. Next year will be the best.

This year in L.A

This year in L.A we learnd how to do a protopage which was really cool. That was a very valuable part of my eighth graed language arts year. The most memorable thing that happened this year in language arts would have to be when we got to listen to music in class. i think that the part in language arts that made me think would have to be making this blog it was sort of hard and made me think about alot of things that i wanted to put on here.

My Favorite Sport

My favorite sport is Football. i like to play football whenever i can and i play with my school and with my friends, i even play tackle with or without pads on and its fun no matter what. My favorite Football team is the Steelers. I dont really know why they are my favorite team they just are and they will always be my favorite team.

Favorite Game

These are my three favorite games that i play the whole time and i really like them. i play these games alot and i am very good at them.

Post for today

This is my Blog. We are doing Blogs in our language arts class because Mrs. Albanese lets us do things like that. She also lets us do things like Protopage and Gmail which is really cool.

Book Review #2

A SERIES of Unfortunate events

The Miserable Mill

By: Lemony Snicket

Violet age 14, black hair and the oldest Baudelaire orphan along with her brother Klaus age 12 black hair, the middle Baudelaire orphan and her sister Sunny the youngest Baudelaire orphan, are the main characters in the book and they are on their way to Paltryville, where their new care taker lived. The setting is in a lumber mill in a town called Paltryville. There is a doctor in Paltryville named Dr. Orwell who is teamed up with a new person in town named Shirley who is really Count Olaf (the person who is trying to steel the Baudelaire fortune).  Violet, Klaus and Sunny are on a train ride to Paltryville and are about to meet their new caretaker. They get to Paltryville and go to a lumber mill, where they find a letter and find out that they have to work in the mill until Violet comes of age to inherit the fortune. While they are working in the mill they find out that Klaus has been hypnotized and is doing the work of Dr. Orwell. Violet and Sunny have to figure out a way to unhypnotize there brother and save one of their friends Charles from being chopped in half. I would recommend this book to anyone. Thos book is full of action and thrills. Every time you think you know what’s going to happen, something different comes. This book keeps you wanting to read it more; it keeps you on the edge of your seat the whole time. This is and excellent book and the series is the same way

Book Review

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix

By: JK Rowling           Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix is about a kid named Harry who after being reunited with his godfather goes back to Hogwarts with his friends Ron and Hermione. While at Hogwarts he finds out that he is sharing a connection with the dark lord Voldimort. When Harry falls asleep he has these dreams that Ron’s dad is attacked by a snake, and it turns out to be true.  Harry and his friends go and find a secret place at Hogwarts after Christmas so that they can practice their Defense against the Dark Arts. Then one night Harry has another dream. So he takes some of his friends and ends up fighting Voldimort. While the fight is going on Sirius comes and dies trying to help Harry and his friends. Then Harry fights Voldimort and learns the true meaning of friendship.          I liked this book and I would recommend this book to anyone because it told me that even when times are rough you will always have friends to help you get through it.

Proudest Moment

Proudest moment

Football is my favorite sport. Although I like to play baseball, and lacrosse, football is a sport that I have my proudest moments in. I have accomplished many things in football like being a starter and a fullback. These are my proudest moments. Being a starter for the football team is a big thing for me. I didn’t expect to do much for the team but I found myself on the starting offensive line and a second string defensive tackle. I was in the seventh grade and it was my first time wanting to play hardcore football. I had played football once before but that was pop-warner football and it wasn’t really that competitive.  Another proudest moment was when I got to play full back in a special formation. Rhett Malone was the running back and I was the full back. That was a very big accomplishment for me because I didn’t think I would play anything other than the center of the offensive line. That was a very big accomplishment for me.

Personal Accomplishment

I have many Accomplishments in my life but there is one that will stay with me forever. GOD!!!!!!! Just a couple of weeks ago I met God again, and this time I’m not going to let go of him. I met God at a district youth retreat that we had for our youth group. The speaker that was there was very good he told us that there were people in here that were posers, and I felt like one of them. That night I prayed and then the very next night I asked god to help me with my addiction and to forgive me of my sins. God has changed my life in many ways that no one could ever do. When I met god it felt like a giant burdened had been lifted off my shoulders and I felt so much better. I love God and I will always love him.
